My wife and I used Sea City Inspections for two prospective homes.  What impressed us the most was the inspector’s thoroughness, and also the way he explained his findings to us afterward in a way that was easy for beginning home buyers like ourselves to understand.

We were shocked to find out that a home that we thought had only a few minor flaws could actually have so many less than obvious but still considerable issues that needed addressing.  It was hard to back out of our contract with the sellers of the first home based on what we learned from the inspection, but looking back, it was the right decision.

Having seen a few quick appearances by home inspectors on HGTV’s “House Hunters”, we thought this type of service was fairly limited in scope, as the ones on TV seemed to give homes a quick “once over”.  That was certainly not the case with Sea City Inspections.  I almost hate to wonder how many hours they spent on each home, considering the very affordable fee.  It was a great investment to help with such an important decision.

If the need were to arise again, we would definitely hire Sea City Inspections.
